Better Together

Happy Wednesday Everyone,

I figured that a Wednesday might be the right day to share this song, which is one of my all-time Jack Johnson favorites.  I've shared some of Jack's music before, and I always think that it speaks right to the heart.  So have a listen.

In middle school, friends are so important, and it's important to celebrate these bonds!  We know it's always better when we're together!

I know it's really hard, at times, when you can't connect with your friends in all the ways you want to...you can't hug them, you can't sit next to them in the hallways, you can't eat lunch together, play sports with them after school, or sing together with them in Chorus.  You can't even see them smile at you during the day.

But keep in mind...

So if you find yourself more distant from your best friends than you'd wish, try sharing your kindness and friendship with the peers that you do have around you.  True friendships won't disappear, and the opportunity to cultivate new relationships means that your love and happiness gets to multiply and grow rather than diminish.

If you are looking for ways to connect with peers virtually or in school, come see me!  Let's figure it out together.

And lastly, remember that we are almost there...there is a light at the end of the tunnel.  Stay strong through this last push, and as vaccinations become more prevalent and the weather starts to warm, we'll be able to connect with our friends and loved ones once again!

Peace to you all today!
