Closing out Inservice...We're ready for you!
Happy Friday Cougars!
I posted for the first time this school year at the opening of our teacher in-service, and now I'd like to close our teacher in-service days with a few thoughts as well.
We have had two busy weeks here at school and from our virtual offices. Two things are for, this school year will be new and different in many good and sometimes hard ways, and you have some amazing teachers ready to guide you! It has become very clear to me over the past two weeks that you all are in very good hands!!! Your teachers are working very hard on your behalf to make this year a positive and successful one. Will it have bumps? Yup!! Will everything be normal and usual? Nope!! Will we all work together, students and teachers, to make it work? Absolutely!!
This weekend, as you anticipate your start on Tuesday, I ask you to put your trust in your teachers, communicate your needs as necessary, keep an open mind, try to stay positive, reach out for help/support when needed, and be the awesome kid you are! Remember that sometimes the anticipation of the thing is harder than the actual thing.
Breath deep, try to let go of the worries for now and trust that all the amazing adults around you are working round the clock to support you.
How do I let go of that stress or worry, you ask? I am glad you want to know! Here are some ways to get happy this weekend and always.
And something to get those endorphins flowing...
I hope you all have a restful and relaxing long weekend! I can't wait to jump back in with you all on Tuesday!
Be well,
Mrs. Hempey (Jen)
