May the 4th...
May the 4th Be With You!
Happy Monday everyone.  For all you Star Wars fans out there, I hope you are enjoying May the 4th Day!  I've been watching the new Star Wars spin-off series the Mandolorian the past couple of weeks, and though I have to admit I am not really a big star wars geek, I do appreciate the movies and am enjoying the Mandolorian.  It occurred to me as I was thinking about May the 4th that like other movies that inspire us, see my post from April 28th, Star Wars is no different.
I started thinking about the lessons from the Mandolorian.  I don't want to ruin it for anyone that hasn't watched yet, but the biggest take away for me so far is that that the Mandolorian has honor, a good heart, and a strong sense of justice.  He is not willing to compromise these values.  He is 100% willing to stand up for what he knows to be right even if it isn't the easy path for himself.  As I thought about what Mandolorian teaches us, I realized that there were probably lots of Star Wars-isms that could inspire us on May the 4th.
Here are just a few that I liked...
"Your focus determines your reality."  Qui-Gon Jinn
"Do. or do not. There is no try." Yoda
"Never tell me the odds." Han Solo
"This is a new day, a new beginning."  Ahsoka Tano
"I find your lack of faith disturbing."  Darth Vader
"Who's the more foolish, the fool?  Or the fool who follows him? Obi-Wan Kenobi
"Strike me down and I will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine." Obi-Wan Kenobi
"Do you want to know the difference between a master and a beginner?  The master has failed more times than the beginner has ever tried."  Yoda (I think)
I hope you have found some words you can be inspired by today.
May the Force Be With You!
