Rainbows

Good Sunday Morning Everyone,

I heard this performance via my Facebook feed the other day. 

It got me thinking about rainbows and how they show up on those days where the sun peaks out on a cloudy rainy day.  Performances and moments like these are like the sun peeking out on this gloomy situation creating a beautiful rainbow for all of us to enjoy.

This performance and many more acts of beauty and kindness have been on display over the past couple of weeks.  Take some time today and in the coming week to seek them out or even provide one for someone else.  You could improve somebody's day and make your own better too.     

I hope that any troubles you are having today will, "melt like lemon drops,"  but if they are not and you are finding yourself struggling or worrying, please reach out.  I will be available all day tomorrow and can set up calls between 9-11 and then again in the afternoon if needed.  But I'll be available by email all day. 

Enjoy this sunny Sunday, bundle up and get outside to get some vitamin D (It helps you feel happier)!

1,000 Paper Cuts

Good Morning Everyone, We've made it to the end of another week, and we are ready to usher in spring tomorrow!  This is good news for all those folks ready to open the windows, get outside, and sweep out the cobwebs!  As we touched on yesterday, however, sometimes with the good comes the bad, and the bad I am referring to was an abhorrent national news story yesterday about an act of violence against Asian-American people in an American community.   I won't go into the details here, but I will say that it is a disturbing trend of violence and hate speech against Asian-Americans around the United States.  Many would attribute this rise in violence to the negative stereotypes perpetuated by some of our leaders during this past year managing the COVID-19 crisis. Another Trip Around the Sun

  Happy Thursday Folks!   Yes, today is my birthday.  Just another day, really, but a good day to be grateful for another trip around the sun.  I just started hearing people use this expression in the last couple of years, but I really like it.  It's a little reminder that... 1.  We shouldn't take anything for granted, because nothing is guaranteed. 2.  We have a new opportunity each day, when we open our eyes, to make it great!   3.  We have 365 opportunities each year to be amazing!   Since my purpose of this blog is to share pearls of wisdom with you, I think I'll try to come up with 44...one for each of my trips around our big ball of light.   Here goes, in no particular order: 1.  Don't spit your gum out on the sidewalk.  Help keep someone else's good day from becoming sticky! 2.  Make little fists with your toes on the carpet when you wake-up each morning...go ahead, try it...so relaxing! 3....
